Prague Philharmonia: Piano Trio II
May 27th from 7.30 p.m.
Music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Josef Suk and Johannes Brahms performed by Piano Trio (James Fišer - violin, Lukáš Pospíšil - violoncello, Marek Šedivý – piano). Tickets purchased on the phone 224 267 644 and via e-mail vstupenky@pkf.cz.


Lady Choir of the Czech Society in Košice (Slovakia) and Martinu Quartet (Czech. Rep.)
May 30th from 6 p.m.
Benefit concert of Lady Choir of the Czech Association of Košice, the only Czech choir acting in Slovakia. The concert will be held for the benefit of the civic association Checomacoco to help "the Indians with Czech blood", descendants of travelers A. V. Frič living in Paraquayi. Program: A. Dvořák, B. Martinů, L. Janáček and folk songs. Admission: voluntary

Final concert of Basic Art School´s music class. Admission: free



Riverside School

June 4th from 6 p.m.

Concert of children and students from International Riverside school (from 4 to 18 years old). You will listen to the varied repertoire and diversity of soloists, orchestras and choirs. Admission: free



Concert of Academic High School (Prague 1)

June 11th from 6.30 p.m.

Conductor Petr Hlavatý and his students. Admission: free



Femme Fatale

June 12th from 8 p.m.

Femme Fatale concert program studies the women´s in spiritual and secular music from baroque period till 20th century. You will listen to songs by Arva Pärteho, Philip Glass, Claudio Monteverdi, Claude Debusshoy, Francis Poulenc, Ivana Hrušovský, Otmar Macha, Jaroslava Krčka and others. Subito chamber choir sings, choir is led by Michaela Králová, Monika Nováková. Admission: 100,- CZK www.sborsubito.cz



Jan Hanuš´s Basic Art School

June 15th from 6.30 p.m.

Basic Art School in cooperation with the Czech-German Fund for the Future invites you to the concert entitled "Meeting". At the concert you will listen to flute ensemble Musici Gaudentes led by Veronika Pudláková from Jan Hanuš´s Basic Art School and Choir of Markt Indersdorf High School conducted by Roman Novák. Admission: free


 

The Prague Lady Teachers Choir

Come and listen to the concert of the oldest Czech lady choir (from 1912).

Concert of American music school Mac Phail

June 21th from 6 p.m.

Music group Mac Phail Suzuki consists of 39 students aged 14-18 years who play the harp, guitar, piano, violin, viola and violoncello. Most of the students studied the instrument since 3 years and over time they became advanced musicians. The concert will perform piano, harp and guitar solos accompanied by a string orchestra. The program offers a wide range of musical styles and composers, both European and American, including J. S. Bach, Ernest Bloch, Aaron Copland and a selection of popular tunes. Student group travels with 6 teachers: Cindy Malmin - Director, Julia Bartsch-music group management, Beth Turco - program manager, Katie Bast-violin, Nikki Lemire-Andrea French harp and cello. Admission is voluntary.


 

Basic Art School Zbraslav (Prague 5)

June 25th from 7 p.m.

Final concert of music school pupils. Admission: free


 

Quattro Corde orchestra presents world premiere

June 27th from 7 p.m.

Program: Jan Dismas Zelenka – Sinfonia concertante, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Ah lo Previdi!
