Inventors and Inventions

This exhibition introduces you also important inventors and discoverers, each of whom enjoyed a close link to the Czech lands. Become acquainted with the varied life and work of more than 20 inventors who left behind incredible works of Czech, European and global importance.

The inventors included in this exhibition were involved in many fields of human activity - including as engineering, medicine, agriculture, biology, chemistry, as well as in the humanities. Visit and discover some curious and absurd creations! You may be surprised how many objects used in your daily life have Czech origin. Certain original objects are available you can see. Models of other inventions are also featured, as well as interactive games allowing visitors to test the principles on which these inventions operate. For both children and adults, playful and inquisitive visitors will enjoy hearing stories of these “celebrity” inventors.

Who knows, one day you could manage to win the Nobel Prize!
