This split catalogue of the art collection, which is deposited in the Department of History of Physical Education and Sport, includes almost 2500 paintings and drawings. In the collection there are works predominantly with physical education and sport themes, for example works of such important artists of 19th and 20th century as M. Aleš, A. Mucha, J. Mánes, K. Svolinský, F. Tichý, F. Ženíšek and many others. The catalogue is supplemented with a subject index and a photographic supplement. The Department of History of Physical Education and Sport prepares at present a catalogue of signed works of plastic art, medals and plaques that will be concurring to this work.
