Journal of the National Museum (Prague), Natural History Series

Founded in 1827, this Journal currently publishes original papers covering all fields of natural history sciences, with emphasis on systematic biology and evolutionary research. Preferred are papers related to museum collections.
Being a direct successor of Časopis Národního muzea, Řada přírodovědná, the Journal was renamed in 2007 and became an open access journal in the same year. Each paper is published as a separate issue.
The Journal of the National Museum (Prague), Natural History Series, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal. It subscribes to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (http://publicationethics.org). The magazine is included in EBSCO.
