Acta Musei Nationalis Pragae – Historia

ISSN: 2570-6845 (print), 2570-6853 (online)

Acta Musei Nationalis Pragae – Historia is a peer-reviewed journal in publication since 1938 (till August 2017 it was named Sborník Národního muzea v Praze, řada A - Historie / Acta Musei Nationalis Pragae, series A – Historia). The journal publishes scholarly texts, and particularly those belonging to fields of interest for The National Museum. These mainly cover the areas of Archaeology (classic, prehistoric and protohistoric, medieval and archaeology of the modern world), Medieval and Modern History, Numismatics, Auxiliary Sciences History, Ethnography, Art History, Theatre History and History of Sports. Every year, a double issue, usually monothematic, is published. It can, however, include a separate paper on a different topic.

The scientific papers which the editorial team considers for publishing undergo an anonymous and independent review process. Each of texts is reviewed by two independent external academics.
