Musaion - National Museum Ethnographic Exhibition
Kinsky Folly, Kinského zahrada 98, 150 00 Praha 5Musaion is a long-term ethnographic exhibition of the Historical Museum of the National Museum, since 2005 again accessible in the reconstructed Empire building of the Kinsky Summerhouse. The exhibition focuses on the folk culture of the Czech Republic region (material and spiritual culture, folk art, collections of folk clothing, housing, farming, habits) and connected with the present day execution of folk craft, handicraft, regular folklore activities, educational programmes, expert and social meetings of folk culture fans.
Further activities: exhibiting workshops, folklore concerts, exhibitions, library, study and archive with study, discussion hall, shop for specialised publications and folk visual art, coffee bar-reading room (with garden in summer months).
The exhibition is managed by the Department of Ethnography of the Historical Museum of the National Museum which also has its seat in Musaion.

Monday: closed
Tuesday–Sunday: 10 AM–6 PM
Every first Thursday of the month: 10 AM–6 PM / from 2 PM to 6 PM free entrance
Short-time changes of opening time:
From 6th September to 8th September – is CLOSED due to technical reasons
