Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2012/52/sppl2

Baeocera socotrana sp. nov. is described from Socotra Island, Yemen. The new species is a member of the B. lenta group. It has reduced metathoracic wings, shortened elytral sutural striae, and in dorsal view abdomen almost completely covered by the elytra.
