Two new primary ore minerals, meneghinite and boulangerite, were found in the active quarry near Prachovice in the Železné hory Mountains, Czech Republic. Both minerals and galena intergrow in silver-grey needle aggregates up to 6 cm on fissures of the silurian and devonian limestones. Meneghinite is orthorhombic with a = 11.3639(5), b = 24.0950(9), c = 4.1437(4) Å, V = 1134.61(4) Å3, and empirical formula (mean of six analyses, base 45 apfu): Pb12.92Cu0.91 (Sb7.03Bi0.07As0.04)Σ7.14(S23.88Se0.15)Σ24.03. Boulangerite is orthorhombic with a = 23.4990(4), b = 21.1911(2), c = 4.0329(1) Å, V = 2008.23(6) Å3, and empirical formula (mean of four analyses, base 20 apfu): Pb5.03(Sb3.94Bi0.04As0.03)Σ4.01(S10.91 Se0.06)Σ10.97. Cerussite and mimetite were determined according to PXRD and EPMA study as a supergene (sub)recent phases originated by weathering of ore minerals.
