Lynx, new series | 2015/46/1

The study presents results of a camera trapping survey conducted in selected forested areas in southern and south-western Bohemia. The survey was carried out in the years 2013–2015 within 35 squares of 10×10 km mapping grid. It resulted in a dataset of 15,816 records (34,427 photographs) of medium-sized and large forest mammals. Besides rare and elusive species such as the lynx, wolf, wildcat and elk, another fifteen species of medium-sized and large forest mammals were documented in the area and their distribution maps prepared.
