The article deals with a number of items from the estate of Marie Wachsmannová (1866–1943), preserved amongst which are, in particular, her autograph album and a few letters from Josef Suk (1874–1935). At the beginning of the 1890s, the pianist Marie Wachsmannová was briefly Suk’s muse. The composer dedicated a few works to her. The aforementioned autograph album contains the manuscript of Lístek do památníku (Album Leaf) for piano two-hands from 1895 (JSkat 30). Besides Suk’s signature, the album contains the signatures of more than fifty figures from the European music scene who visited the Wachsmann family salon or who performed at concerts of the Czech Chamber Music Society between its founding and the beginning of the First World War.
