The article analyses a find of 360 deniers discovered in Čáslav (Kutná Hora District) in 1878. The hoard consisted of the Bohemian deniers of Břetislav II, Bořivoj II, Svatopluk and Vladislav I, and Moravian deniers of Ota II the Black and Václav-Jindřich.

The article presents a new image variant of the Wenceslaus IV’s Prague groschen of the Hána XI type bearing a lion with reversed crescents in the upper row of its mane. Both documented specimens were struck with different obverse dies bringing thus two new variants with various types of the crown.

The study brings new typology and chronology of the earliest white pennies of Vladislaus II Jagiellon, struck during the 1480s. These coins are divided into four iconographic types (I–IV) and a new chronology of these issues, based on the surviving mint accounts, is proposed.
