Acta Musei Nationalis Pragae – Historia litterarum | 2022/67/3-4

The aim of the study is to provide information from the analysis of a handbook and promotional publication on museum libraries prepared by the Methodology Centre for Book Culture and Literary Museums of the Museum of Czech Literature (MC PNP) in cooperation with the Library Committee of the Czech Association of Museums and Galleries (AMG) in 2021. Information on individual museum libraries is divided into three blocks. The first of them contains the basic information on the particular library, the second outlines the history and activities of the library, and the third presents the nature of its collec­tions as well as the points of interest and unique items. Unique and rare serials of the 19th century in museum libraries have been identified and compared with records in the Serials section of the Union Catalogue of the CR.
