On May 8, 2012, the Church of the Most Holy Heart in Prague-Vinohrady, designed by the Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik (1872–1957), since 2010 listed as a national cultural treasure, has celebrated the 80th anniversary of its consecration. Upon that anniversary, the corridores and back rooms have been repainted. The sacristy, together with its furniture likewise designed by Plečnik, were repaired. In the interior of the nave, the glass decorations, designed by Karel Svolinský, and the cendelabras in the prebyterium, designed by Otto Rothmayer, have been restored.
