Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum (Kinsky Summer House)

If you are looking for an oasis of calm in the midst of Prague, the Kinsky Summerhouse, in which the collections of the Ethnographic Museum are housed, is here for you. In the summer months, the green garden with the white Classicist summerhouse provides a backdrop for exceptional wedding photographs. For those who prefer folk customs, the Ethnographic Museum offers inspiration in its permanent exhibition dedicated to traditional folklore, including wedding costumes, ceremonies and customs, and so a traditional wedding might be an interesting choice.

The ceremony can take place in the immediate vicinity of the summerhouse – in its gardens (indoors facilities for the wedding couple and the guests are available), or in the grand entrance hall (foyer).  The decorations and music are arranged by the couple. The chateau administration office is ready to accommodate the couple as much as possible. The indoors wedding ceremony (in the foyer) can be attended by the maximum of 60 people; the outdoor capacity is unlimited. For both options, chairs and tables are available (for a maximum of 60 people).
