Exhibition from the series "The World in a Showcase"
The exhibition presents a selection from the generous donation of artist and collector Jiří de Heer, thanks to which the collection of Asian cultures of the Náprstek Museum expanded by almost two hundred exhibits in 2025. Visitors can view a part of this diverse collection for the first time, shaped by the collector's long-standing personal relationship with the Southeast Asian region, especially the Indonesian island of Bali.
The cycle, in the form of short-term exhibitions, presents interesting objects and collections from the extensive and unique collection of the Náprstek Museum in two showcases.
Tickets can be purchased on-line or at the box office.
On Sunday, July 12, 2026, admission to the Náprstek Museum is free.
The e-ticket is valid for 30 days from the day of purchase for a one time entry.
Free admission (tickets only available at the box office): persons with severe disabilities (with valid disability ID), for those requiring a personal assistant, admission is free for both the visitor and one accompanying person; holders of cards: ICOM, Prague Card – CoolPass, the National Museum Society, employee of a contributory organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic (for cardholders only)
Photography and filming for non-commercial purposes and without the use of flash and tripod included in the ticket price.

The ticket must be kept for the duration of the entire visit.
