The museum is located in the historic center of the Prachatice city conservation area, right on Velké náměstí in an ancient burgher's house. The joint presentation of the history of puppets and circus art is unique in the museum world.

Tickets can be purchased on-line or at the box office.

On Monday, October 28, 2024, entry to the buildings of the National Museum is FREE, please do not buy tickets for a visit on this day.

The ticket must be kept for the duration of the entire visit.
