The program includes a demonstrative dance lesson for beginners, which will take place after the first block of live performances. Experienced instructors from the ZIG-ZAG tap&swing dance studio will be available throughout the evening. They are dedicated to dance styles like Lindy Hop, Balboa, Step, etc.

Letenský Dixieland will play for dancing and listening.

The band was formed in the spring of 2013 by a group of friends who had played together before. Especially at the weddings of his friends. For one event, it was necessary to come up with a name and history for the band. The inspiration was Letná, where the bandleader JK lived at the time (and had previously worked). Later, we learned from witnesses that the band of the same name existed in the 1960s. It had a rehearsal room in the Trade Fair Palace.

Dixieland was originally a quartet consisting of clarinet, trombone, banjo and double bass and played true New Orleans jazz. Improvised and without notes. A significant change occurred in 2015, when the bandleader bought a new guitar. At the end of the year, he and a few friends went to play in the Malá Strana café Čas. The performances were a success and the Time Café gradually became the main stage of Letenský Dixieland. It was then that the bandleader decided to change the band's sound towards Chicago hot jazz. He replaced the banjo with a guitar and gradually expanded the band to a septet with the traditional line-up - cornet, clarinet, trombone, violin, guitar, double bass and drums. The eighth was the singer. The band has been playing in this line-up ever since. Guest musicians will occasionally bring other instruments such as bass saxophone, tarogato, ukulele and piano.

The band plays traditional hot jazz and swing in Chicago style, improvised and without notes. This makes each concert unique. Letenský Dixieland plays mainly in Prague at individual concerts, festivals, swing dance halls and other events (e.g. Bio Fair in Letná, František's Loves Bio Oko, Museum Night in the Czech Museum of Music).
