The exhibition 100 Years of Modern Magic commemorates one century since the creation of the first magician's association in our territory – the Prague Magic Club. It also points to the interest in association of those who practiced entertaining magic in associations, clubs and various organizations. In addition to the Prague Magic Club, you will also get to know, the Czech Magic Association or the Union of Moravian Magicians at the exhibition. You will get to know magic cards, coins, orders, books, magazines and badges in detail.

Among the unique objects that you will be able to admire are, for example, those from the unique collection of Pavel Langer. Magical artifacts are exhibited together with props that have been used by magicians in our territory over the past hundred years. Among the cards, the oldest ones from our territory stand out, from Martin Hanzalík, who actively used them in Jihlava between 1799 and 1856. Some of the beautiful artistically crafted props come from one of the best companies - Klingel from Vienna. Visitors are guaranteed to be impressed, for example, by the prop card riser in the form of an inlaid wooden box made by Josef Adam from Prague in the 1920s. Also, if you want to take something away from the exhibition, there are instructions on how magicians shuffle cards. This was prepared for the exhibition by the young contemporary Czech magician Ondřej Pšenička, who has already established himself with his art in Las Vegas in the USA.
