During the workshop, participants will learn about the tools and types of wire commonly used in wireworking as well as practise the fundamental techniques and decorative elements of the craft. These basic skills will then be applied in the creation of traditional wirework objects.

The workshop is led by Jitka Dvořáková, who has been practising the traditional craft of wirework for approximately 17 years. Alongside her creative work, she collects original wirework pieces and vintage postcards related to this craft. Her creations focus primarily on traditional wirework forms and are based on authentic historical techniques.
