Ceramics in the Ethnographic Museum

This ceramics course is designed for beginners as well as those with some prior experience. It offers space for individual creative exploration alongside work on carefully prepared thematic projects.

Under the guidance of experienced instructor Jakub Nakládal, BcA., you will be introduced to the basics of working with plaster, learn slip casting in moulds, hand building, decorating, and glazing. Emphasis is placed on developing practical skills, understanding the material, and supporting each participant’s individual artistic expression.

Come and try traditional and experimental ceramic techniques, slow down to the rhythm of handcraft, and take home original pieces created with your own hands.

Course fee: CZK 2,800 per adult participant, CZK 2,500 per child
