During the programme, pupils will become acquainted with the most important exhibits related to key political events of the 20th century from the First World War to the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union. Many of these are linked to the destinies of the people who produced, received or used them, and thus offer an opportunity for dialogue. The guided tour is conducted in dialogue form with the lecturer and will be adapted to the age of the pupils.

Practical information: we ask school groups to come to the New Building of the National Museum ideally 15 minutes in advance, which they will use to check in at the ticket office, put personal belongings away in the cloakroom, visit the toilet and move to their meeting point with the guide; pupils should bring a five-crown coin to operate the lockers; meeting with guides always takes place in the cloakroom area
