Guided tour for primary and secondary schools
During the guided tour, pupils will visit the reconstructed Historical Building of the National Museum, learn about the architecture of the building and its changes over time, and visit various corners of its interior, including the underground corridor that connects it with the New Building. The tour will be adapted to the age of pupils.
Note: this tour does not include a guided tour of individual exhibitions, displays and the dome. However, these spaces can be visited separately as part of the ticket (except for special exhibitions, which are subject to a special entrance fee).
Practical information: we ask school groups to come to the Historical Building of the National Museum ideally 15 minutes in advance, which they will use to check in at the ticket office, put personal belongings away in the cloakroom, visit the toilet and move to their meeting point with the guide; pupils should bring a five-crown coin to operate the lockers; meeting with guides always takes place in the cloakroom area
