For more than 25 years, the group MáTa has been the in residence choir at the Elementary Arts School in Prague 8-Kobylisy, Klapkova 25. As the students at the school change throughout the years, the members of the choir also change with only a few permanent performers. The choir director, Helena Velická, has been leading the group since 2006.

This will be the fourth time the group has performed at the Antonín Dvořák Museum in Prague. The concert program will consist of 15th as well as 21st century composers, including Banchieri, Arcadelt, Leavit, Stravinsky, Bartok, and Orff. It will also feature some works by Czech composers, including J. D. Zelenka, V. Novák, J. Nowak, J. Klička, and L. Janáček.
