Summer concert in the garden – Serenade’s of Antonín Dvořák

Holland’s chamber music ensemble Kamer Muziek will perform two pieces by Dvořák in the garden of the Antonín Dvořák museum. The ensemble will perform the String Serenade in E major op. 22 as well as the Wind Serenade in d minor, op. 44.

The music group is comprised of many friends who all adore Czech music. Every year they visit one location in Europe that inspired a famous composer. This year, the group decided to explore the world of Antonín Dvořák and visit musical landmarks in the Czech Republic.

Sjef de Kort, the groups conductor, studied at the Royal Conservatory in Haag and the Janáček Academy (JAMU) in Brno. He is the conductor for a few music ensembles.
