Exceptionally exhibited original autograph score of the opera Jakobín, Op. 84, based on a libretto by Marie Červinková-Riegrová, offers a unique glimpse into Dvořák’s compositional workshop. The manuscript of the second version of the third act illustrates the challenging development the opera went through between 1887 and 1898, while its concert performance at the Dvořák Prague Festival 2026 serves as a reminder that the composer’s music remains a vibrant part of contemporary concert life and continues to resonate with both performers and audiences.
