Rozložitou, krásně rostlou jedli obrovskou (Abies grandis) by bylo škoda minout. Vybral si ji pro svůj park v 90. letech 19. století Karel Nádherný (1846–1895), otec sourozenců. Volně roste v lesích Severní Ameriky a v USA je v současnosti jedním z nejoblíbenějších vánočních stromků. Byla vysazena společně se skupinou bříz u křižovatky – ta v současnosti dožívá a zahradník postupně dosazuje zástupné sazenice, aby zůstal zachován charakter místa, které měla rodina ráda. Sedávali tu často se svými hosty na jednoduchém zahradním nábytku, příhodně zhotoveném právě z březového dřeva, a užívali si park.

It would be a shame to miss the large, beautifully grown giant fir tree (Abies grandis). It was chosen by Karel Nádherný (1846–1895), the father of the siblings, for his park in the 1890s. It grows wild in the forests of North America and is currently one of the most popular Christmas trees in the USA. It was planted together with a number of birches at the crossroads – they are currently living their last years, and the gardener is gradually planting replacement seedlings to preserve the character of the place the family liked – they used to sit here quite often with their guests on simple garden furniture, conveniently made of birch wood, enjoying the park.
