Osamělý kamenný stůl před jihovýchodním nárožím zámku připomíná kdysi rušné rodinné místo – Amáliino zákoutí (Amalienplatz). V roce 1883, hned po svatbě, ho upravil pro svou mladou ženu rytíř Karel Nádherný. Archivní fotografie zastavila jeden z mnoha okamžiků v čase – odpolední kávu v parku. U stolu s bílým ubrusem sedí – zleva: janovický farář František Vojáček (1841–1905), Amélie Nádherná (1852–1910), Karel Nádherný (1849–1895) a Alexandr Seik (1824–1905) z Tábora, proslulý fotograf a vynálezce chromofotografie. Za nimi stojí komorníci – zleva: Antonín Povolný (1853–1909), otec pozdějšího zámeckého zahradníka, a Karel Hulínský (1865–1934). Nad schody odpočívá bernardýn Master, jehož náhrobní desku najdete u cesty po západním břehu rybníka. Později, když se o park už starali sourozenci Nádherní, vznikla v sousedství Amáliina zákoutí jednoduchá zahradní kompozice s kamenným schodištěm podle návrhu Camillo Schneidera (1876–1951). Jedná se o „dotyk“ proslulého zahradního architekta v janovickém parku, jednu z jeho úprav, ke které se dochovaly plány.

A lonely stone table in front of the south-eastern corner of the chateau reminds of a once busy family place – Amalie’s nook (Amalienplatz). In 1883, the knight Karel Nádherný modified it for his young wife right after the wedding. Stock photography captured one of the many moments in time – an afternoon coffee in the park. Sitting at a table with a white tablecloth – from the left: the parish priest of Janovice František Vojáček (1841–1905), Amélie Nádherná (1852–1910), Karel Nádherný (1849–1895) and Alexandr Seik (1824–1905) from Tábor, a famous photographer and inventor of chromophotography. Behind them are the butlers - from the left: Antonín Povolný (1853–1909), father of the future chateau gardener, and Karel Hulínský (1865–1934). Saint Bernard Master is resting above the stairs, whose tombstone can be found by the road along the west bank of the pond. Later, when the park was taken care of by the Nádherný siblings, a simple garden composition with a stone staircase designed by Camillo Schneider (1876–1951) was created in the vicinity of Amália’s nook – this was a “touch” of the famous landscape architect in the Janovice park, one of his modifications for which the plans have survived.
