Kamenný stůl s čtvercovou deskou najdete na místě, kde už v 18. století stával praktický mléčný sklípek. Podobu, kterou vidíte na fotografii, získal svah „u pramene“, jak mu Nádherní podle blízké studánky říkali, při úpravách v roce 1931. Z té doby se zachovala jen studánka, kterou můžete projít po nášlapných kamenech, a některé výsadby: žlutě kvetoucí škornice (Epimedium), drobný japonský keřík tlustonitník klasnatý (Pachysandra terminalis), který má rád vlhko a stín, a při cestě darmera štítnatá (Peltyphyllum peltatum). Ta roste volně v Severní Americe při březích řek. Na jaře se objeví růžovo-bílé květy na dlouhých stoncích, a teprve pak listy s pravidelně vykrajovanými okraji, jež na podzim získají červené a hnědé tóny.

The stone table with a square top can be found on the site of a practical milk cellar in the 18th century. The hillside “at the spring”, as the Nádherný family called it because there was a well nearby, got the form you see in the photograph during the modifications in 1931. Only the well – which you can walk to by the stepping stones – and some plantings have been preserved from that time: Yellow-flowering Epimedium, a small Japanese shrub Pachysandra terminalis that likes moisture and shade, and there is Peltyphyllum peltatum along the road, which grows wild in North America on the banks of rivers. In spring, pinkish-white flowers appear on long stems and only then leaves appear with regularly cut edges, which get red and brown tones in autumn.
