New data on the occurrence of beetles of the family Bostrichidae on Socotra Island are presented – altogether nine species have been recorded hitherto. Besides faunistic data, the paper contains descriptions of two new subspecies: Enneadesmus obtusidentatus obscurior Borowski subsp. nov. and Enneadesmus forficula socotrensis Borowski subsp. nov. Both subspecies differ from nominotypical forms in smaller size and distinctly shorter and less prominent tubercles and denticles on elytral truncation.
