Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae | 2020/60/1

A new genus of Rhyparochromidae, Scobinigaster gen. nov., with two new species, Scobinigaster henryi Kondorosy & Baňař, sp. nov. and Scobinigaster paveli Kondorosy & Baňař, sp. nov. is described from south-west Madagascar. The new genus is placed within the tribe Lethaeini of the subfamily Rhyparochrominae, and justification for this action is briefly discussed.
